men's brno winter classic
For the very first time, the Nordic Curling Tour officially lands in Brno, Czechia!
This milestone women's event will be hosted at the unique Curling Brno - Nova Zbrojovka curling rink, a venue that breathes new life into the city’s industrial heritage.
The women's event will run alongside the men's event.

About the event
NCT Brno Winter Classic will be played at Curling Brno - Nova Zbrojovka rink in Brno, Czechia and will host 10 men's teams.
The tournament is played according to the World Curling Federation rules. Measurement will be done by 1 point measurement.
The event starts Thursday mid-day around 1pm and finishes with final Sunday around 5pm.
- 4 games with 10 teams (+ playoff stage)
- Prize Fund: 75,000 CZK (approx. €3,100) (10 teams)

Entry fee: 15.000 CZK (approx. €620)

Group Stage
The men's teams have 2 groups of 5 teams where group winners go straight to semifinals and overall ranked 3-6 go on to the quarterfinals.
3rd-6th, 4th-5th
*In playoffs the highest ranked team from groupstage gets lowest ranked team in semifinal.
Overall ranking is based on: a) Wins b) LSD

The biggest airport is Vienna Airport with a great bus and train connection into Brno city.
Bus and Train connection from Bratislava or Prague.

pay entry fee. You will get options to pay entry fee in email after your registration. (Please allow some time. Do not register more than once.)

*The team will only be secured of their spot after payment has been done. Entry fee will only be
reimbursed if another team takes the spot and pays the entry fee.
