Join us for the Women's divisions of Match Town Trophy 2026 at Sweden’s National Curling Arena in Jönköping, where world-class competition meets world-class facilities.
Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Vättern, Jönköping Curling Club offers six sheets of exceptional ice, state-of-the-art technology, and an atmosphere designed for elite curling. Whether you are chasing prize money, ranking points, or simply looking to compete against top-level opposition, Match Town Trophy delivers an unforgettable weekend of curling.
This year we are hosting 12 women's teams for a total purse of 60 000 SEK.
Players dinner on Saturday for 4 players is included in entry fee. More info to come.
Men's event will be played alongside this women's event.

Practice sessions will be available prior to the opening games on Thursday.
Many games will be streamed live throughout the weekend, allowing fans, family members and curling enthusiasts around the world to follow the competition.
Opening round begins approximately 14:00

Pre-Game Practice, LSD and Stone Colour
Twenty minutes before the scheduled start time, each team will receive five (5) minutes of practice.
The first team listed in the draw will play with Blue Stones, while the second team will play with Yellow Stones.
At the conclusion of each team’s practice, two different players will throw Last Stone Draws (LSD):
The LSD determines hammer for the game
The least favourable LSD result will be excluded from the DSC calculation.
Practice and LSD times will be announced by competition officials.
Practice times will be announced by tournament officials.
All games are played over eight (8) ends.
Round-robin: If the score is tied after eight ends, the game will be decided by a Draw to the Button competition. The team with hammer decides which team throws first. The first team may choose either turn. The second team throws the opposite turn.
Points for Round-robin games:
Win in reg: 3
Win in shootout: 2
Loss in shootout: 1
Loss in reg: 0
(Wins from shootout will rank lower than normal wins)
Playoff: If the score is tied after eight ends, extra end(s) will be played.
The women’s event consists of two groups of six teams.
Group winners advance directly to the semifinals
Teams ranked 3–6 overall advance to the quarterfinals:

Win/Loss Record (Wins from shootout will rank lower than normal wins)
DSC (excluding the least favourable LSD result)

The closest airport is Jönköping Airport, which offers a limited number of flights.
For most international teams, we recommend either Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, followed by train or bus to Jönköping or
Stockholm Arlanda Airport, followed by train or bus to Jönköping.
Both alternatives offer excellent transportation connections.
