8 girls teams and 8 boys teams will participate. The tournament is part of the European Junior Curling Tour and Nordic Curling Tour.

Competition & rules
About the event
This tournament will follow the WCF’s Rules of Curling unless stated otherwise below.
LSD
Teams will practice for 5 minutes. First practice starts 10 minutes prior to game time. (08:50 for draw 1).
Teams will have 1 minute to throw one LSD at the end of practice.
The first named team will play red stones and throw clockwise.
The second named team will play blue stones and throw anti-clockwise.
If both teams cover the button; each team will throw once more without sweepers, to determine the hammer.
All LSD’s will be used for ranking (DSC).
Games
All matches are played over 8 ends with an extra end if necessary. If no points are scored in the extra end, the team without hammer wins.
The teams will play a round-robin in a group of six teams.
Teams are allowed one 60 second timeout per game. No extra timeouts in extra ends,
Play-off format (See brackets below)
First ranked teams from each group progress directly to Semi-finals.
Second ranked teams from each group progress directly to Qualification Games.
The third and fourth ranked teams face off in the Play-off games.
Teams with the higher rank from their pool will have the hammer.
In the case of the same rank, the DSC (combined LSD’s) result will determine the hammer.

Travel
Closest airport is Gardermoen and is less than an hour away with car or train.
Hotel
- The player hotel will this year be the very modern Quality Hotel Expo at very reasonable rates. Book here
- There will be no shuttle service this year. The curling club is a 20 min walk from the hotel, or 4 min by public bus that runs quite often.
Payment
The entry fee is 450 EUR per team and includes lunch and dinner both days (four players + one coach). Additional meal tickets can be purchased.
Entries must be received by August 31st and confirmed by paying the entry fee before September 15th.
